Since 2010 the Neuvième circonscription des Bouches-du-Rhône stretches along the Mediterranean coast. It lies between Marseille and the Var department. Aubagne is at its heart.

In 2012 Bernard Deflesselles won. He represented the Union for a Popular Movement. Joëlle Mélin from the Front National came in second.

The 2017 elections saw Sylvie Brunet and Bernard Deflesselles compete. The 2022 elections saw Joëlle Mélin win. She represented the Rassemblement National. Lucas Trottmann from LFI came second.

In 2024 Joëlle Mélin won again. She was from Rassemblement National. Bernard Ougourlou-Oglou from PS came second.
