Tucked away in Budapest, the Festetics palota has a story to tell. It’s not the Festetics Palace in Keszthely. This Festetics palota stands in the heart of Budapest. It once resided in what was known as the magnate-district, near the National Museum and other prominent institutions. The Festetics palota’s renovation in 2003 revealed its Romantic architecture. The historic halls, with their dimensions and color harmony, offer a unique experience. The palota isn’t just about the past. New rooms were created in the loft to house the Andrássy Gyula German Speaking University of Budapest. This blend of old and new makes the Festetics palota a vibrant part of Budapest’s cultural landscape.
