Nakamura Gakuen University started as Fukuoka High School of Nutrition Studies in 1954. It then became a junior college in 1957. Finally it gained full university status in 1965. This shows the institution’s commitment to growth.
Today Nakamura Gakuen University hosts around 4000 students. These students are divided across its undergraduate school graduate school and junior college. The university prides itself on its diverse student body. Approximately one percent of students are international.
