Here stands Unity Secondary School a beacon of learning. Founded in January 2000, the school started with just 17 staff members. There were also 364 pupils. Mr. N Satianathan was the first Principal, appointed in July 1999.

The official opening ceremony occurred on November 15, 2001. Mr. Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister for Communications & Information Technology, officiated. He was also an MP for Hong Kah GRC.

Practical platforms help Unitians practice leadership. They model the way and inspire others. Diverse programs nurture students’ talents. Examples are the Leaders of English Programme. There is also the Advanced Mathematics Programme. The Young Scientist Programme is here. Also, the Humanities Programme helps students excel. In Unity Secondary School, teachers are character coaches. Their focus is to develop students into leaders of character.
