The Dugdale Centre is open from Tuesday to Sunday during school terms. During school holidays it is open Monday to Sunday. You can enjoy exhibitions workshops and community gatherings. The London Borough of Enfield Council owns manages and funds DAC.
Let’s step back in time. Between 2008 and 2011 the Dugdale Centre temporarily housed the Enfield Town Library. It also housed Forty Hall’s estate administration. This was while both underwent major refurbishment.
In October 2011 the Dugdale Centre joined the Millfield Arts Centre family. The theatre program was developed. It aimed to create a new style of studio work previously unavailable in Enfield. New programs of jazz comedy mime and poetry were introduced. Children’s theatre also became a staple. These complemented the larger-scale work at Millfield Theatre.
