“Transforming Hearts and Minds” is not just a motto. It is the heartbeat of Kalbis Institute. Founded in 1992 as STIE KALBE, the Kalbis Institute has grown. It began with diplomas in Finance, Banking, and Accounting.
Right here, in front of Kalbis Institute, we witness a story of transformation. It is a story etched in the very stones of this place. The Kalbis Institute started expanding its academic reach in 1994. A diploma in Corporate Management was added. By 1996, bachelor’s degrees in Management and Accounting were introduced. The institute added a master’s program in Management two years later.
In 2002, STIE KALBE changed its name to STIE SUPRA. Then, in 2005, the Kalbe Education Foundation established STMIK SUPRA. It offered bachelor’s degrees in Information Systems and Informatics Engineering. The story took another turn in 2009. STIE SUPRA and STMIK SUPRA merged. They formed the Kalbe Institute of Technology and Business ITBK. A bachelor’s program in Communication Science was added.
