The beautifully refurbished Victorian building houses children aged three to eleven. They learn together in classrooms and playgrounds. The Greenspace is Salusbury School’s outdoor classroom. It is a magical place for children to learn about nature and wildlife. Here they develop their imagination, creativity and confidence. All children benefit from the forest school program. This unique resource exists because of the support of families, pupils and staff.

Place2Be counseling services are available on-site. Also there is a specialist teaching base. Alternative therapies and sessions take place here. The school works closely with Salusbury World. This charity supports and empowers refugee and migrant families.

Salusbury Primary School was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The Ofsted report praised the school’s behaviour and attitudes as outstanding. Personal development and leadership were also deemed outstanding. The school was inspected on 5 November 2024.

In 2018 and 2019, Salusbury Primary School had over 600 pupils. In both years, the average score in reading and maths was 106.

In October, the children stage a carnival parade for the Mayor of Brent. The art pieces they have made themselves. Performances celebrate Afro-Caribbean history. These include playing djembe drums with Brent Music Service, a steel band and a choir.

Headteacher Michelle Ginty revealed that this will be an annual celebration. It is building on the school’s rich and diverse curriculum. The focus is on remembering, respecting and flourishing together. The children also explore the history of reggae and Caribbean music. They even record a song, which they later perform for their families.
