These units provide information and support to law enforcement officials. They assist those who want to participate in CEPOL’s activities.

What kind of training does CEPOL provide? The courses cover various topics. These include civil crisis management and EU police mission planning. Joint Investigation Teams and police cooperation with Europol are also covered. Further topics are trafficking in human beings and drug trafficking. They also teach Intelligence Led Policing. Illegal migration and border surveillance are on the curriculum too. Courses also include civilian crisis situations, international disaster management, and public order. Strategic management for senior police officers is taught. Finally CEPOL provides education in high-tech crime and terrorism.

CEPOL strives to offer innovative and advanced training. It integrates developments in knowledge research and technology. Also it creates synergies through strengthened cooperation. CEPOL’s portfolio includes residential activities and online learning. The online learning consists of webinars online modules and online courses. Exchange programs, common curricula, research, and science are also included.

Beyond the EU, CEPOL cooperates with various law enforcement agencies. These agencies are both governments. An example is the cooperation with Armenia.
