In 1974, a gleaming beacon of modern architecture pierced the Parisian skyline: the Tour Boucry. This towering structure, standing tall at 99 meters, wasn’t always known by this name. Before it became synonymous with the vibrant community it houses, it was called “Super 18e”, a name that hinted at its ambition and scale. Designed by the architect Jean-Robert Delb, Tour Boucry is more than just a residential building; it’s a microcosm of Parisian life. Within its 29 floors, it houses around 1,500 residents in 500 apartments. The Tour Boucry also has a unique cultural significance. In the 1970s, a close-knit Chinese community began to flourish around the tower. This cultural fusion is palpable even today, adding a unique flavor to the area.
