In 1901, a generous donation by Elvira Ezcurra set the stage for what would become the Capilla Colegio Inmaculada Concepción. She gifted land to the Curia of Buenos Aires, specifically for a place of worship and education. This land, nestled between Humahuaca and Sadi Carnot streets, was entrusted to the care of the Sisters of Charity, Daughters of the Immaculate Conception. The Capilla Colegio Inmaculada Concepción stands as a testament to this early act of generosity. Within its hallowed halls, you’ll find a space dedicated to prayer and reflection, the Oratorio Madre Pierina. Here, relics of the Blessed Pierina de Micheli are venerated, adding another layer of spiritual significance to the chapel. Students and teachers from the secondary school gather daily at 7:50 am for a Celebration of the Word and distribution of Holy Communion.
