In fact Taşoluk was once a distinct municipality. It gained that status on October 18 1993. It even had its own government. Then things shifted. On November 12 2012 Taşoluk became part of the Arnavutköy municipality. It joined several other towns in this change. This transformed Taşoluk into a mahalle a neighborhood. The transformation didn’t erase its unique identity.
Taşoluk Mahallesi boasts a rich cultural heritage. It’s home to numerous important buildings. The Arnavutköy Municipality Administrative Center stands proudly within its borders. Several directorates also call Taşoluk home. The District Governor’s office is here. So are the District Population and Health directorates. The District Fiscal and Registry directorates too. Even the District Food Agriculture and Livestock directorate resides in Taşoluk. This shows Taşoluk’s central importance to Arnavutköy.
Besides government buildings Taşoluk has a vibrant community life. It’s home to parks galore. Hamidiye Park Yeldeğirmeni Park and Cevher Dudayev Park offer green spaces. Adalet Parkı Sıtık Şefika Özçüm Parkı and Selçuklu Park provide more. Mustafa Yeşil Park Taşoluk Meydan Parkı Saray Parkı and Ramazan Güngör Park add to the list.
