You might notice a large, flat-roofed building with two levels, known as the EH Hereford University Center. It’s the heart of the University of Texas at Arlington, a place where Mavericks gather for a multitude of purposes. The building is vital for student life, hosting events, providing lounges, food services, and serving as a hub for student organizations. The University Center has been a popular destination for students for decades. The EH Hereford University Center, however, has struggled to keep up with the growing needs of the university. That’s why a new addition, a $9.8 million expansion project just completed, has added a grand entrance to the University Center, creating a more welcoming space for students and visitors alike. This new, more prominent entryway, a testament to the university’s growth and dedication to improving student experiences, is now the front door to the university.
