The von Mertzsch family owned it until 1681. Then G H von Carlowitz acquired the estate in 1724. Ownership changed hands frequently after 1764. The Bauer Heydenreich Gelbke von Bünau Engler and Blümner families all had a claim to it. The Gelbke family regained ownership in 1901.
