“Shh, did you hear that?” a whisper rippled through the Birdhide. We’re nestled right on the edge of the wilderness here. This unassuming wooden structure, the Birdhide, is a gateway to a world teeming with life. It might seem small, but it offers a front-row seat to the avian ballet unfolding just beyond these walls. The Birdhide is designed to blend into the environment. This allows us to observe the birds without disturbing their natural behavior. Mornings here are particularly magical. It’s when the birds are most active, flitting between branches and announcing their presence in a symphony of chirps and songs. But be sure to visit in the afternoons too. There’s nothing quite like the sight of our feathered friends enjoying a pre-roost bath in the late afternoon sun. So keep your eyes peeled and your binoculars ready. You never know what feathered wonders await you here.
