The street is linked to the center of Saint Rambert. Several alleys wind between buildings allowing access to Place Schonberg. Bus lines 2 and 76 serve the area.
Why Rue Hector Berlioz? Hector Berlioz though not a native Lyonnaise is deeply connected to the city. M Imbert Berlioz’s first music teacher was from Lyon. Since 1979 Lyon has held an annual Hector Berlioz festival. The festival celebrates his legacy. His compositions like the Symphonie Fantastique are still famous.
