The red brick building on Kensington Avenue, Thornton Heath, stands proudly with its bright yellow door. This is Kensington Avenue Primary School. This school has a long and rich history in the Croydon community. It started as a primary school in 2005 but was previously called Kensington Avenue Infant School and Kensington Avenue Junior School, before it became the Kensington Avenue Primary School. The school changed its status from a community school to a multi-academy trust in 2019 and became part of the Manor Trust. Kensington Avenue Primary School provides a welcoming, nurturing, and stimulating environment for its pupils. The school has a special emphasis on supporting pupils with autism.
