“Riding to the sun,” he muttered under his breath, staring at his phone. This isn’t just some random graffiti, my friends. This is PA_1191-PA_1195, a piece of art by the elusive Invader. Installed in March 2016, PA_1191-PA_1195 isn’t your typical mosaic. It’s a series of five space invader runners, each a different color, racing across this wall. They almost seem to be running away from the city. You see, Invader, the artist, leaves his mark on cities around the world with these pixelated creatures. He’s inspired by the 1978 video game, Space Invaders. He even awards points for finding and “flashing” them through his app. Find all five of the PA_1191-PA_1195 runners here, and you’d score a cool 250 points. So keep your phones ready and your eyes peeled! This city chase has only just begun.
