IGH Apistolic Church

In 1962 a small group began meeting in homes. They formed the Minneapolis congregation of the Apostolic Christian Church. This was the humble start of the IGH Apistolic Church. The IGH Apistolic Church’s journey began with services in homes. Ministers from other congregations traveled to lead these early meetings. In 1963 services moved to the Longfellow Avenue YMCA. This provided a more suitable space for the growing congregation. The IGH Apistolic Church found a permanent home. In 1969 a building was purchased on West 43rd Street. By the late 1980s the congregation outgrew its building. A new building was constructed in Mendota Minnesota. This larger space could accommodate the expanding church family.
