Jakarta’s energy pulses around BSI Jatiwaringin. This campus isn’t just a place of study. It’s a testament to Indonesia’s evolving educational landscape. BSI Jatiwaringin is part of the larger Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI). UBSI has a fascinating history. It began as a modest computer training center called LPK BSI in 1988. Over time, LPK BSI grew. It transitioned into a one-year program. Then, it evolved into a three-year diploma program. It offered various academies. These included the Academy of Informatics and Computer Management (AMIK), the Academy of Secretarial Studies (ASM), the Academy of Foreign Languages (ABA), the Academy of Communication (AKOM), and the Academy of Management and Finance (AMK). A pivotal moment arrived in the 2018/2019 academic year. During a new student orientation seminar at the BSI Convention Center, all these academies merged. They formed what we now know as Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI). This unification brought all BSI campuses across Indonesia under one umbrella. BSI Jatiwaringin stands as a symbol of this transformation. Today, UBSI, including BSI Jatiwaringin, boasts three faculties and twenty-two study programs. These range from diploma to bachelor’s degrees, with master’s programs on the horizon. The campus is a hub of activity. Students pursue diverse fields like software engineering, computer science, information technology, industrial engineering, accounting, and communications. BSI Jatiwaringin offers more than just academics. It cultivates a vibrant community where students learn, grow, and contribute to Indonesia’s future.
