Here stands Lejerbo, one of Denmark’s major administrative organizations. Since its beginning in 1944, Lejerbo helped build. It also rents out, maintains, and modernizes public housing all over Denmark.
Today, Lejerbo manages more than 35,000 public homes nationwide. It is organized into around 52 housing associations.
Lejerbo operates via tenant democracy. Local boards from different departments and organizations help decide Lejerbo’s future direction. This ensures everyone has a say in how things are run.
Lejerbo’s main office is on Gammel Køge Landevej in Valby. There are regional offices in Aalborg, Holstebro and Kolding. You can also find them in Holbæk, Næstved, and Brøndby. Each office helps manage local properties.
The Udlejning Hovedstaden office is also in Valby. Its address is Gl. Køge Landevej 26, 2500 Valby. You can call them at 70 12 13 10. This is Lejerbo’s main number.
Udlejning Hovedstaden covers housing for several organizations. These include Arbejdernes Boligselskab and Borgergården. They also handle properties in many municipalities. These are Copenhagen, Allerød and Rudersdal. You’ll also find them in Furesø and Fredensborg. Halsnæs, Helsingør, and Hillerød are also included. Frederikssund, Bornholm, and Brøndby are as well. But Lejerbo Brøndby only. Frederiksberg, Gentofte, and Gladsaxe are also part of their area. As are Glostrup, Hvidovre, and Høje-Taastrup. Finally, Køge, Ishøj, Lyngby-Taarbæk, and Rødovre.

Their phone hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 14:00. On Fridays, they are open from 9:00 to 12:00. You can only visit the office by appointment. Make sure to call first.
Be aware that you might wait when you call. The busiest times are 9:00-11:30 and 11:30-12:30. There is less waiting time between 12:30 and 14:00. This overview helps you plan your call.
