To get an idea of what exactly that means, we need to step right into their studio, an old warehouse in Minneapolis’ happening warehouse district. Gone are the Herman Miller lounges. It’s not about luxury, it’s about the grit. Cold, concrete floors. A single phone with low batteries. In the middle of the room, the hulk of an American Eagle silk-screen press.
