Wasn’t it 1944 when everything changed? Before us stands the Kispest-Rózsatéri Református gyülekezeti ház a testament to faith resilience and community.

This unassuming building holds a rich history. It began not as a grand edifice but as a collection of apartments. Dr Daniel Ablonczy a man of deep faith and tireless work transformed this space into a place of worship. He led the congregation until 1984. He wrote many books and Bible commentaries. His paintings even supported the Károly Sándor Rózsatéri Református Általános Iskola. His large family a source of strength served as an example to many. He received the title of Honorary Citizen of Kispest and a doctorate in theology.

His son Kálmán Ablonczy took over the leadership. The old building proved too small. A new church designed by Béla Nagy was constructed between 1992 and 1994.
