How can you tell if you are blessed with Al Barokah. One sign is feeling joy in doing good. The Quran describes this as a spaciousness of the chest. It is a sense of ease and delight in worship.
Another sign is perseverance. Those who have tasted Al Barokah continue to do good deeds. They do this solely to seek Allah’s approval. They remain steadfast even when their good actions are not appreciated.
Patience in the face of trials is another hallmark. With Al Barokah, people find it easier to be patient when tested. This applies to both joyful and difficult times.
Let us explore some ways to gain Al Barokah. First, maintain devotion to Allah. This means sincerely following His commands and avoiding prohibitions. Allah promises blessings to those who are devout. They find happiness and peace in their worship.
Second, earn wealth through lawful means. It is not about the amount of wealth. It’s about the blessings within the wealth earned. Lawful wealth brings benefits and draws us closer to Allah. Unblessed wealth, however, can lead to losses.
Third, start your day early. The Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of starting the day early. He prayed for blessings for his followers during that time. Fill the morning with good deeds and productive activities. Avoid sleeping between dawn and sunrise.
Fourth, begin all activities with Bismillah. This phrase connects our actions to the name of Allah. It transforms those activities into acts of worship. The Prophet Muhammad encouraged his followers to always begin with Bismillah. Without it, an activity may be cut off from blessings.
