City of Miracles

Twenty-five years ago, the seeds of faith were sown right here at the City of Miracles. A young pastor named Ezra L. O’Neal began his ministry in the humble setting of a game room in Lakeland Manor Apartments. It was 1995, and the ministry was then known as Miracle Apostolic Church. The congregation thrived under Pastor O’Neal’s guidance, fueled by the power of Wednesday night Bible Study. The growing number of worshippers soon necessitated a move, and in 1996, Miracle Apostolic found a new home, a 1200 square foot storefront at 1918 Miller Road in Garland. Two years later, the ministry expanded, taking over the adjacent suite and doubling its space. It was at this point that Pastor O’Neal made the courageous decision to devote himself fully to his calling, leaving his corporate job to lead his flock. By 1999, the congregation, now boasting nearly 200 members, had once again outgrown its space. The City of Miracles, as it was renamed, moved to its first standalone building, a testament to the power of faith and perseverance. The City of Miracles stands today as a beacon of hope and inspiration, a testament to the vision of its founder and the unwavering faith of its congregation.
