Welcome to Singing Hills Baptist Church! You might not realize it, but this place is bursting with history. Founded in 1984, this church has grown from a small group of 24 members to a congregation over 3000 strong! And just think – over 750 people found their place of worship and faith here. Standing before this building, it’s hard to imagine that it all started in the neighboring Greater New Hope Baptist Church. But it was here, on that January day in 1984, that Reverend Howard E. Anderson Sr. led the charge, filled with a vision to create a church that would radiate love and hope throughout Dallas and beyond. He wanted Singing Hills to be a pillar of faith in the community, a place where everyone could find a warm embrace of faith and fellowship. Over the years, Singing Hills has become a dynamic force, establishing over 83 ministries that reach into the hearts of their community. One of the most impactful acts? They sponsored 15 churches around Dallas, expanding their message of faith and compassion. Singing Hills Baptist Church isn’t just a place of worship but a beacon of hope and love. It’s a story of growth and dedication that resonates through the walls of this building, and it’s something that each and every visitor can feel too.
