“A church born in a heart.” That’s how the story of New Creation Christian Center begins. It’s nestled right here in Seattle, and its journey started not within these walls, but in the heart of Pastor Cross J. Richard, Sr. In June 1999, he received a vision, a call to be a voice in the inner city. His mission? “Change lives by teaching people to fully trust God through His Word.” New Creation Christian Center became the physical embodiment of that vision. From its location in Seattle, Pastor Richard has been dedicated to serving God and fulfilling this mission. His work expanded beyond Seattle, reaching across the globe to Rwanda, Africa. New Creation Christian Center’s influence has blossomed there, with eight churches established throughout the districts of Ruhengeri, thanks to the partnership with Pastor Emmanuel Rukera. Back in Seattle, the church acts as a beacon of hope. New Creation Christian Center actively prays for and supports the community. They guide people towards salvation, reconciliation, and faith. Their focus is on those who feel lost and hopeless. They want to share the love and faith found in Jesus Christ. Ultimately, they aim to strengthen families by building their faith in Christ. New Creation Christian Center isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to the power of a vision, a place where lives are changed, and hope is renewed.
