SMA Negeri 113 Jakarta has a rich history. It officially became SMA Negeri 113 Jakarta on September 5 1990. Before that, the location housed SPG 7. SPG means Sekolah Pendidikan Guru or Teacher Education School. The school initially operated under the guidance of Dra. Hj. Rt. Yul Chadidjah. She was the former head of SPG 7. She led from 1990 to 1993. Her team included Dra. Yati Rosdayati, Drs. Sunhadji Hadi Musthofa, and Dra. Lestari. The teaching staff largely came from the former SPG 7.
SMA Negeri 113 Jakarta has grown since its establishment. In 2010, the school had 244 students. There were 214 male and 214 female students. The school had only two teachers then. Today, the school has 1079 students. There are 498 male students and 581 female students. It also has 51 teachers. Ismail currently serves as the Headmaster. Agus Wahyudi is the operator.
