The ground became saturated, and older graves, where the caskets had begun to decompose, were particularly vulnerable. Around fifteen graves, both in the COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 sections, were affected. The groundskeepers worked quickly to repair the damage, adding more soil to the collapsed areas. While such incidents are common during the rainy season, it underscores the ongoing work required to maintain the cemetery.
