This church has a rich history. It emerged from the New Song Church formerly known as the Korean First Baptist Church of Dallas. In 1975 New Song Church primarily served first-generation Korean speakers. But times changed. A need arose to minister to the growing second-generation English-speaking members.
An informal English Ministry was started. This ministry eventually blossomed. In 1996 it became the independent Global Harvest Church. The church shared a campus with New Song for years maintaining a harmonious relationship. They collaborated on events like Vacation Bible School and Fall Festivals.
In 2014 Global Harvest Church moved to its own building in Carrollton. It now stands as a beacon of faith. This is where Korean Crystal Church is today. It’s a place of worship open to people from all walks of life.
The church proudly holds affiliations with three organizations. The Dallas Baptist Association the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention. This shows a commitment to a wider faith community. It’s part of the largest Christian church association in both Texas and America.
The Southern Baptist Convention is incredibly diverse. It has churches that hold services in over eighty languages. Each church maintains its independence. They choose their own pastors own their buildings and design their programs. This independence is a hallmark of the SBC.
