The community continued to flourish. A brick chapel and schoolroom were built in 1904. This provided a dedicated space for worship and education.
The current red-brick church was opened in 1957. It features a cruciform plan. This symbolized the church’s central role in the community. The 1904 building became the church hall. It stands just north of here.
