A.J. Buenger began church-work at Golgotha Lutheran Church in 1910. The church was organized and joined the synod the same year. The church building was built in 1925. The church played an important role in the community. It served as a place of worship, education and fellowship. It hosted services in both German and English. The church closed in 1991. Today, the building still stands on South Kilpatrick Avenue. It is a testament to the rich history of the church. It is now a place of memories.
