“A mosque nestled between two worlds?” a visitor once mused, standing before Mushola Daarul Hidayah. Indeed, Mushola Daarul Hidayah occupies a unique space, physically and symbolically. It sits between two RTs, RT. 06 and RT. 02, within the RW. 06 of Cipayung, East Jakarta. This placement reflects its role as a community hub, bridging different segments of the local population. Mushola Daarul Hidayah’s story began in 2010. It arose from the generosity of Bapak Dalih bin Milan, who donated the land, and the financial support of Bapak H. Mufti. The driving force, however, was the determination of the predominantly Muslim community to create a space for worship and spiritual growth. The name “Daarul Hidayah,” meaning “House of Guidance,” encapsulates its purpose. It serves not only as a place for prayer but also as a center for moral education and community activities. Mushola Daarul Hidayah has continually evolved since its inception. Year after year, improvements and expansions have been undertaken to better serve the growing needs of the Muslim community. The mosque embodies a community-driven spirit, built “From, By, and For the Community,” as its motto proclaims. Its vision is to create an Islamic way of life by uniting and guiding the potential of its members, fostering a sense of Islamic brotherhood. The mission is to cultivate faith, behavior, and morals in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. It aims to be a vibrant center for community activities, connecting people from all walks of life. Mushola Daarul Hidayah stands as a testament to the power of community, faith, and the desire for spiritual growth in the heart of Jakarta.
