Grace + Peace Austin, a vibrant and welcoming church nestled in the heart of Austin, Texas, has a story that began with prayers and a shared vision. This is also the story of how a community came together to create a place where people could find faith, build lasting relationships, and contribute their unique talents to their city.
For years, All Saints Presbyterian Church, located in southwest Austin, had been praying for the chance to establish a new church in the North Central part of the city. They felt a strong calling to share the Gospel and build a community based on faith and service. Their dreams eventually became a reality when Grace + Peace Austin was born, holding its first service on August 23, 2015, at Lamar Middle School.
From the very beginning, Grace + Peace Austin had a clear vision: to be a ‘Gospel-Formed Family for the City.’ This vision emphasized the importance of both genuine community and a mission to bring the love of God to the people of Austin. The church embraced its role in the city, becoming a hub for worship, fellowship, and service.
Today, Grace + Peace Austin continues to build upon its foundation, welcoming people of all backgrounds and ages with open arms. They offer a dynamic and engaging worship experience, a variety of programs for children and youth, and numerous opportunities to serve the community. If you’re looking to discover a church that is deeply committed to the Gospel, fostering genuine relationships, and making a difference in the city, Grace + Peace Austin might be the place for you to discover your faith journey.
