From its humble beginnings in Pedurenan a journey of faith unfolds before you. This is Masjid Jami’ Al-Ikhlash a testament to the enduring spirit of Islam in Jakarta.

Originally a wakaf from Raibah continued by Hj Sitinah the mosque found its first home in South Jakarta’s Karet Kuningan. The land a precious gift was officially documented. Wakaf number 9 an Akta Ikrar dated September 16 1996. A Surat Ukur followed in December 1999 solidifying its 379 square meters. H Ahmad Bin Sarmili the wakif entrusted its care to H Royani Sarmili.

But this wasn’t the end of its story. Masjid Jami’ Al-Ikhlash embarked on a significant move. It relocated to its current location in East Jakarta’s Ciracas. March 9 1996 witnessed the laying of the foundation stone. The official inauguration followed on June 22 1996 a momentous occasion presided over by the then Ciracas sub-district head Endjang Abdullah.

Over the years Masjid Jami’ Al-Ikhlash has undergone significant transformations. Its infrastructure facilities and activities have evolved. This mosque stands as a vital hub for the community. A place for prayer reflection and social cohesion.

The mosque’s leadership has also seen changes. Ustadz H Ahmad Sanusi served as the first chairman of the DKM. Ustadz Mukhtar S Pd I led for many years. Currently Ustadz Suheli S Pd I guides the mosque’s spiritual and administrative direction. The mosque continues to strive to fulfill its mission of serving the community and upholding Islamic values.
