Dobbelt fokus enhances the Brabrandstien path near De Tre Broer. It increases both the lighting and the artistic appeal. In 2017, a competition sought light art to boost recreational use and safety. Dobbelt fokus emerged as the winning project.
The installation features two circular elements. They stand at opposite ends of the cycle bridge. These identical but mirrored objects challenge your perception. They create focused and blurred images of the surroundings.
Dobbelt fokus invites you to discover and rediscover De Tre Broer. It balances light and darkness. A committee of art experts selected Jakob Oredsson’s design. The artwork was inaugurated in January 2018. It is planned to remain for at least 10 years.
