Mercedes-Benz World is located on the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey. It is owned and operated by the Mercedes-Benz Group. Since opening in October 2006, over 3 million people have visited. Entry to the Mercedes complex is free to the public.

Mercedes-Benz World was the first track in the UK. It provided the MSA’s newly developed coaching course. This course leads to a professional certificate in coaching motorsport. It is the highest coaching qualification currently available in UK motorsport. The qualification targets professional race instructors and race teams.

Visitors can book driving time on the tracks and technical facilities. This allows a full experience of the high-performance AMG range. They can discover how different parts of the car’s technology interact. This improves handling and safety. There are courses for learning advanced skills and trying out an AMG. The driving facilities and courses include programs adapted for every age. They also accommodate every experience level. From first-time drivers to those with advanced race experience.

Champions who have driven on the tracks at Mercedes-Benz World include Lewis Hamilton. Nico Rosberg also drove here as well as John Surtees and Stirling Moss. Bernd Schneider drove here. He is a DTM champion. Jenson Button and Mika Häkkinen have also graced the tracks. They are both double F1 world champions. A permanent team of professional advanced driving coaches is on site. Their experience spans every aspect of driving.

On June 19, 2011, Mauro Calo broke the world drift record. He is a member of the permanent driving team at Mercedes-Benz World. He achieved a confirmed distance of 2308 meters. He drove an unmodified Mercedes C63 AMG. Adjudicators from Guinness World Records were present.

Since 2015, AMG Driving Academy offers basic training on the tracks. It is the German high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz World is the only place in the world to offer this course flexibly. It is available any day of the year. One-to-one coaching is standard.

Anyone who is tall enough can drive a car at Mercedes-Benz World. They must be 1.5 meters tall. They can drive on parts of the original Brooklands Circuit. Courses allow a beginner to progress right the way through. They can eventually take one of the top of the range supercars out on the tracks.

Facilities include high-performance handling tracks and simulated ice surfaces. You will also find a skid pan and high-speed braking areas. There is a 4×4 course and driving areas for beginners and young drivers.

The building is spread over three floors. Over 100 cars are on display. This includes a historic 300SL Gullwing. The full range of current sports and performance models is also displayed. There is a cinema and a restaurant. You can also find a simulator studio and a cafe. Displays, exhibitions, event spaces, and a shop are available. Children are welcome. There are multiple activities for all ages.
