Dream of becoming a transportation expert. You have arrived at Politeknik Transportasi Darat Bali. It is also known as POLTRADA Bali.
POLTRADA Bali started as Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Transportasi Darat Bali. This was back in 2002. The Ministry of Transportation issued Decree Number Km 73 in 2002. This established the organization. It focused on land transportation education and training.
Initially, the campus covered 16,130 square meters. Find it on Jalan Batuyang 109x in Batubulan Kangin, Gianyar, Bali.
In 2019, a significant change occurred. The Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia issued Regulation Number PM 30. This was on May 10, 2019. It concerned the Organization and Governance of Politeknik Transportasi Darat Bali. Thus, Balai Pendidikan and Pelatihan Transpormasi Darat Bali became Politeknik Transportasi Darat Bali, or POLTRADA Bali.
POLTRADA Bali offers three Diploma III programs. These include Automotive Technology, Road Transportation Management, and Logistics Management.
The Road Transportation Management program specializes in land transport management. It covers planning, safety, traffic performance, and public transportation management.
The Automotive Technology program evolved from the D-II PKB program. Graduates gain expertise in motor vehicle testing. They also develop skills applicable to the automotive field within land transportation.
The Logistics Management program focuses on logistics management. It includes route planning, transportation management, supervision, and safety.
POLTRADA Bali has two campuses in Gianyar and Tabanan. Both campuses provide classrooms and dormitories. Gianyar has seven classrooms for 25 students each. Tabanan offers sixteen similar classrooms. Dormitories provide beds, desks, wardrobes, AC and Wi-Fi.
POLTRADA Bali provides laboratories for practical exercises and research. The library offers various services. These include circulation, membership, journals, and multimedia facilities. A health unit offers medical and dental services. There are also places of worship. Other facilities include an auditorium, fitness area, meeting rooms, and fields.
POLTRADA Bali aims to develop its organization. It also wants to benefit the transportation sector and the public. This aligns with the vision and mission of POLTRADA Bali and the Ministry of Transportation.
