The Taman Burung Bali Bird Park opened its gates in October 1995. It has become a vital center for conservation, particularly for the critically endangered Bali Starling, the island’s national symbol. The park’s mission is to breed and protect these stunning white birds, hoping to one day see them thrive again in the wild. The Taman Burung Bali Bird Park isn’t just about Balinese birds. It’s a global avian adventure. Eight distinct habitats recreate environments from around the world. You can explore the jungles of Sumatra, home to the White-Crested Hornbill with its fluffy white hairstyle, and its neighbor, the Eagle Owl, one of the world’s largest owl species. Journey to the Borneo exhibit and meet the Bulwer’s Wattled Pheasant and Flying Foxes. From South America’s Scarlet and Hyacinth Macaws to Africa’s Grey Parrots, the park offers a vibrant tapestry of birdlife. The Taman Burung Bali Bird Park also offers unique experiences. The Komodo Experience brings you face to face with a Komodo dragon, but it’s only available on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and Fridays at 2:30 p.m. Other activities include feeding programs for pelicans and lories, a free-flight bird show, a 4D cinema, and the “Guyu-Guyu Corner” for hands-on bird interactions.
