Established in 1978 SMA Al-Huda stands as a testament to perseverance. It emerged during a period of political uncertainty in Indonesia. The Al-Huda Islamic Education Centre Metropolitan founded it. Mr KPA Drs Kh Nukman Muhasyim was the first chairman. The school offered SMP SMA and SMK programs. SMA Al-Huda has grown steadily since its founding on August 28 1978.
Over the years SMA Al-Huda has seen many headmasters. H Ahmad Syafi’ih led from 1978-1983. Odingsyaripudin followed from 1983-1984. Jokowaluyo served from 1984-1985. Sunarto’s tenure lasted from 1985-1999. Amsir led from 1999-2000. H Mursyahidhalwan served from 2000-2005. Muhammad Umar’s leadership spanned 2005-2013. Muhidin served from 2013-2016. Absori M Pd led from 2016-2018. Dede Mahmudi S Pd served from 2018-2019. Wiyono M Pd has been the headmaster since 2019.
