This community house provides many ways to spend your free time. You can enjoy recreation or artistic activities. Maybe you just want some fun.
Now let’s step back in time. The \u0150rmezei K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi H\u00e1z was built in 1979. It was the first community center in the district. The 4-es metro made it easier to reach. The metro’s \u0150rmezei stop is very close.
The \u0150rmezei K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi H\u00e1z is run by K\u00f6zPont \u00dajbudai Kultur\u00e1lis Nonprofit Kft. It is open six days a week. From Monday to Friday, it’s open from 9 am to 9 pm. Weekend hours depend on events.
Inside the \u0150rmezei K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi H\u00e1z you will find a large hall. It is 110 square meters. There are dressing rooms and a cloakroom. On the ground floor are offices and a club room. You’ll also discover a studio and the T\u00e1rsalg\u00f3 Gallery and Coffee Shop. The Kr\u00e9her P\u00e9ter Room is mainly for exhibits. It can hold classes of 10 to 15 people.

One of the house’s prides is the Vadr\u00f3zs\u00e1k Folk Dance Ensemble. It was formed over 70 years ago. Two groups exist. One is for adults and one is the Cavinton senior folk dance group. They rehearse twice a week. Their performances share \u0150rmezei’s good name throughout Hungary.
B\u00e9lav\u00e1ri Anna’s ballet school has been here the longest. Kids learn classical ballet basics. They also explore musicals. They develop a love for music and movement. They learn the value of persistence and dedication.
The \u0150rmezei K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi H\u00e1z also focuses on young families. They organize family and baby programs. Every two weeks, the Anya-kapocs group meets. There is also a used baby clothes fair twice a year.
