What makes this collection of buildings so special? This, my friends, is Geelong Grammar School Toorak Campus. You might be surprised to hear that Geelong Grammar School has a campus right here in Toorak. It wasn’t always called Toorak Campus. This campus actually began its life as Glamorgan Preparatory School. It was founded all the way back in 1887. In 1947, Geelong Grammar School decided to expand its reach. They acquired Glamorgan, adding a prestigious prep school to their roster. The school became co-educational in 1973, welcoming both boys and girls. Then, in a nod to its location, Glamorgan was renamed Geelong Grammar School Toorak Campus in 2008. Today, Geelong Grammar School Toorak Campus is a thriving hub of learning for students from Early Learning Centre to Year 6. It’s known for its commitment to nurturing young minds and instilling a love of learning.
