The bridge above us carries the B 56. It links Bonn’s Endenich and Weststadt districts. It is known locally as the Hermann-Wandersleb-Ring and Endenicher Strae. The roundabout’s circular design gave rise to the nickname “Endenicher Ei”. That translates to Endenich Egg.
Currently, the Endenicher Ei is undergoing extensive construction. These improvements, started in October 2023, are scheduled to last until spring 2027. The construction aims to modernize the structure. The work needs several closures.
