Twenty-five years ago All Saints Lutheran Church was merely a seed of faith. It sprouted from the bold hearts of 250 people. These courageous souls left the familiar embrace of Gethsemane Lutheran in Hopkins. They sought to establish a new spiritual home in Minnetonka. In 1957 their vision blossomed. All Saints Lutheran Church held its first service in the old Glen Lake School. This wasn’t just any service. It was the beginning of a vibrant community.
All Saints wasn’t built overnight. Its first sanctuary was constructed in 1959. The congregation rolled up their sleeves. They contributed their time and labor. The church has grown significantly. From its humble beginnings with 213 baptized children and 114 confirmed adults its membership swelled. More than just a place of worship All Saints has expanded its reach. It established a preschool in 1966. A childcare center opened its doors in 1985.
