Founded over 25 years ago Solid Rock Church boasts a remarkable history. Pastors Steve Coronado Sr and Steve Coronado Jr had a vision. They obeyed God’s calling to start a new church in 1988. After a dedicated search they miraculously purchased the historic Ayers Theater in Corpus Christi. They did so debt-free making it Solid Rock’s permanent home. Twenty years later another miracle occurred. The Yorktown Campus was also purchased debt-free. This added a second location for Solid Rock expanding its reach. Solid Rock is known for its powerful worship and teachings. These have empowered countless lives. Currently it serves over 2000 people weekly. Solid Rock Church believes God placed them there to help those hurt lost and searching. They aim to support spiritual growth and serve others. The church invites those seeking a genuine community to join their family. They strive to love do and be greater together. One church with two locations Solid Rock provides both in-person and online services. So come experience the presence of the Lord at Solid Rock Church.
