How about a university that started with 338 business executives? That’s UADE – Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. It stands proudly here in Buenos Aires.

UADE is more than just a university. It’s a private institution. It was founded in 1957 by the Argentine Chamber of Corporations. UADE aimed to educate professionals. They needed to meet the evolving demands of companies.

In 1963, UADE offered its first degrees. These included Marketing and Finance. Others were Costs and Industrial Relations. Also Organisation of Production was offered. UADE joined the Council of Rectors of Private Universities in 1968.

Let’s talk about UADE’s physical presence. The main building opened in 1984. It’s located on Lima Street. More buildings were added later. These created a large complex. In 2000, the Faculty and Alumni Club opened. It was in an annex building on Chile Street. UADE opened the School of Management in 2003. The UADE University Residence opened in 2005. It can accommodate 1200 people. The campus includes 181 classrooms and laboratories. These cover over 75000 square meters.

The UADE Labs opened in 2010. This building has 9000 square meters. It is the first integrated university laboratory building in Argentina. Students spend 60000 hours annually. They do practice and research here. This spans 51 programs.

UADE has many international agreements. It cooperates with over 100 companies. It also partners with universities worldwide. More than 3600 companies seek UADE professionals. The university has 1300 internship agreements. These are with top-tier companies.

UADE offers a wide range of degrees. These span various fields. Architecture and Communication are included. Economics and Engineering are also present. Law and Health Sciences are offered too. Postgraduate programs are available. These include MBAs and Masters degrees. UADE also conducts research. This happens through its Research Coordination unit.

UADE is recognized worldwide. ACBSP and IFT accredit it. Also PRSA and IAA recognize UADE. UNWTO acknowledges its tourism education quality.

UADE has grown significantly since its start. It now has over 42000 students. It employs over 2100 professors. The university continues to evolve. It meets the needs of its students and the business world.
