Curiosity stirred within a small group gathered before High Point Fellowship. “Did you know this church started with just a handful of families?” one whispered. High Point Fellowship stands in Cedar Park, a testament to faith and community. In 1993, a vision took root, a vision of God’s impact on Texas. High Point Fellowship began its journey in a rented space. The congregation quickly outgrew the initial location. Miracles seemed to unfold, guiding new members to the fellowship and expanding the church’s ministry. High Point Fellowship’s mission is “to lead change in our community by being the presence of Christ as we partner with others to bring help, hope and healing to people of every color and background”. The church purchased land and built the first two phases of their long-range plan. Senior Pastor Walter Kahler has been a guiding force, witnessing the growth of High Point Fellowship. Today, High Point Fellowship thrives as a place of community and family. It embraces the Great Commandment, emphasizing love for God and others. This principle has shaped the church’s welcoming atmosphere. High Point Fellowship extends its reach globally, engaging in both local and foreign missions. The church has partnered with the Montgomery County Food Bank. It offers a bookstore and coffee shop, creating a space for respite and reflection. High Point Fellowship offers contemporary worship and accessible messages. It aims to be a “storehouse” where people find spiritual, physical, and emotional fulfillment. High Point Fellowship continues to evolve, guided by faith and a dedication to service.
