Upper Room Family International Church began with about thirty members in April 2008. The location was at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Center in Worcester MA. By its first anniversary the meeting hall became too small. In September 2009 Upper Room Family International Church moved to a 290-seater church auditorium. The new location had a parsonage four classrooms and a function hall.
Rev Gerald Plange is the founding Senior Pastor of Upper Room Family International Church. He leads a team of ministers and ministry directors. Pastor Plange has a strong pastoral and teaching ministry. He has a unique gift for nurturing other ministers. His passion is to see people serve God and humanity with excellence.

Michael Miller is the founder and Senior Pastor of UPPERROOM. He and his wife Lorisa started a small prayer meeting in an office space in April 2010. From that initial prayer meeting God birthed a movement of prayer and worship. It continues to grow globally. Many lives have been impacted by UPPERROOM’s house of prayer. People come together to pray and worship every morning noon and night. Michael and Lorisa travel internationally to support other UPPERROOM communities.
