Gallery B612

Tucked away in the vibrant SoDo district of Seattle, Gallery B612 awaits. It’s more than just a gallery. It’s a creative sanctuary, a haven for artists and art enthusiasts alike. Gallery B612 draws its name from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince,” specifically the tiny asteroid home to the prince. Much like its namesake, Gallery B612, established in 2020 under Prince and Fox, LLC, is a small but significant world of art. It’s nestled between iconic Seattle landmarks. Think T-Mobile Stadium and Lumen Field to the north, and Starbucks Headquarters just a couple of blocks south. Gallery B612 was founded by MiYoung Margolis, who also serves as curator. Initially, it showcased Margolis’s solo work and served as a rehearsal space for MMDC and Dare to Dance. Gallery B612 is dedicated to fostering community and providing artists with a platform. It’s a place where art comes alive, sparking dialogue and connection. The gallery has hosted diverse exhibitions, from solo showcases during the pandemic to large group shows like the Grand Re-Opening, which featured over 50 artworks and 5 live performances for over 150 guests. They’ve also presented themed exhibitions like “Freedom,” featuring artists working in a variety of mediums from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Gallery B612 actively seeks to showcase both local and national talent. They invite artists to participate in juried exhibitions and encourage them to attend receptions and engage with the community.
