The Morgan Park Church of God has seen two pastors in its 100 years of existence. Robert Sunday, after moving from Pensacola, Florida, established the church. He led the congregation for 61 years and oversaw the construction of the church on Monterey Avenue. After his death in 1984, Fitz Barclay, Jr. became the pastor. Under his leadership, the Morgan Park Church of God expanded its reach across three continents. They even established a domestic violence center nearby. Today, the Morgan Park Church of God continues to grow. Its commitment to winning souls and developing believers remains as strong as ever.
