You can join Bethel Assembly in person or online. Sunday service starts at 10 am. Children’s programs are available for kids from nursery to 5th grade. A Tuesday prayer meeting takes place at 7 pm. Programs for kids from nursery to 5 years are available then too. AWANA is also available for children in kindergarten to 5th grade.
Pastor Armand and Julie Madlangbayan are the lead pastors. Armand grew up on Chicago’s Northside. He found God at age 15. He graduated from Central Bible College. Armand has been in full-time ministry since 1997. He was an Executive Pastor at the Chicago Tabernacle for 9 years. The Lord called him to Bethel Assembly in May 2011. Julie is his wife. She grew up in Osawatomie Kansas. She came to know the Lord in 2000. She has been serving God’s people for 16 years. Julie is a Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree in Nursing. Her primary ministry is supporting her husband. They have three daughters Sofia Sydney and Stella.
Pastor Armand and Julie want to help people grow. They want them to find God’s purpose for their lives. They love Jesus and love people. They are excited about the transformations happening. They believe God has greater things in store. This applies to Bethel Assembly and Elmhurst.
Daniel and Venessa Cancel are the executive pastors. Daniel grew up in Logan Square Chicago. Since age 12 he wanted to reach people with the Gospel. Before Bethel Assembly he worked at the Chicago Tabernacle for 7 years. In 2013 he felt led to join Pastor Armand at Bethel Assembly. He completed his studies through AG Global University. Now he is an ordained minister. Daniel works for Chicago International Charter Schools. He also serves as Executive Pastor and Youth Pastor at Bethel Assembly. Venessa is his wife. She is a full-time staff member at Bethel Assembly. She handles church administration. She is also the worship director. Danny and Venessa have two children Haley and Ethan. Both of them love the Lord. They actively serve in ministry. They want all people to know Jesus Christ. They want them to grow into God’s purpose. Their goal is to advance the Kingdom of God.
